New eBookshelf Released
MTPC’s eBookshelf has undergone a major update to enrich its e-publishing features. In addition to a native user interface (UI) for responsive display, the new eBookshelf now supports searches by keyword, collection, category, school, institute, office, department, unit and year. It also features a new promotion banner that highlights newly published or noteworthy e-books. Newsletters with multiple issues are now featured in the “Collection” section with dedicated shelves and banners. Please contact the MTPC design team for e-publishing services on the new HKUST eBookshelf.

In response to user requests, new design templates for banners and backdrops, posters, and e-boards have been created and are now available for download in the “Templates” sub-menu of the “Resource” menu on the MTPC website. All templates are in PowerPoint format for easy modification and output for digital display and printing.
UV Printing on 3D Objects
To provide a total solution for printing on 3D objects, MTPC Printshop has rolled out UV printing for university users. It is a type of digital printing utilizing ultraviolet (UV) light to dry or cure ink. The printing technique can be applied very creatively on a wide range of objects with different materials, sizes and shapes. It can be used for printing signage and display stands; awards and trophies, including those made of glass and acrylic; packaging prototypes and display mock-ups; as well as university gifts and promotional products.
